Emma Barton

Emma is best known for playing Honey Mitchell in Eastenders for three years and her numerous stage credits including Chicago, Grease and The Secret Garden in the West End.

Recent work includes You, Me and Them for Hat Trick, and a brief return to Eastenders, which lead to appearances on Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Mastermind.

She has recently finished a successful run playing Dolly in the National Theatre's production of One Man, Two Guvnors on its UK tour which was immediately followed by Jerry's Girls when it transferred to Jermyn Street Theatre.

Emma says: "I think it is so important for children with an interest in performing to be encouraged, guided and enjoy every minute. All of these things are true of Steppin Out theatre school and this is why I am so looking forward to being a patron of these stars of tomorrow!"


Vicki Manser

Vicki trained at the world renowned Urdang Academy in Central London, graduating with a BA Honours Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since then, she has completed a run in the Olivier Award winning West End production of Sunny Afternoon the Kinks musical and has just finished appearing in the Carole King musical Beautiful at the Aldwych Theatre.

Vicki has previously been a dance teacher and choreographer for Steppin’ Out including choreographing numbers for Her Majestys Theatre and Disneyland Paris.

She regularly works as a freelance choreographer and teaches West End workshops in professional and amateur theatre schools. Most recently she choreographed a production of Annie which won a Guinness World Record Title for Fastest Musical Production.

Other professional credits include Magic at the Musicals with the cast of Sunny Afternoon at The Royal Albert Hall and a backing dancer for the boyband The Wanted for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.



Tom Chambers

Tom trained at the prestigious GSA with Steppin Out Principal Shelley Otway. Tom was a winner of Strictly Come Dancing and a proud Olivier winner.

He was also in the cast of:

Holby City
Waterloo Road
White Xmas
Top Hat The Musical

Tom says: "I'm 100% behind Steppin Out. It's principal is bubbly, enthusiastic, dedicated and really knows her stuff."


Matthew Stirling

Matthew is a professional actor, stuntman and magician and trained at Italia Conti In London. He has worked constantly in the industry for 25 years.

and EastEnders to name a few

Matt says: I'm honoured to be a patron of Steppin Out. The school is exciting, professionally run and the children ooze charisma on and off stage.
